Meet the Founders
Helpful Housemates is a new service provided by Unity Living. The founders of Unity Living and Helpful Housemates are also behind the successful Community Interest Company Share and Care Homeshare, the largest and most experienced Homeshare provider in the UK since 2006. Helpful Housemates has been developed for those Hosts who don’t require as much help and support as a Share and Care Homeshare arrangement offers, but who would still value the reassurance of a carefully matched and vetted lodger who will pay them some rent and offer up to 5 hours of low-level support and friendship each week.
Amanda and Caroline are passionate about people supporting people in their own homes and hope that they and their experienced team will be able to support even more people through their Helpful Housemates brand.
