A warm and friendly older lady is seeking a Helpful Housemate for her home to give her a little bit of help and company – up to 3 hours a week – in exchange for paying lower-than-market-rent. She has a friendly Cockerpoo, so a dog lover is essential.

The accommodation on offer is a single eaves bedroom at the top of the house, plus a bathroom primarily for their use (shared if the Host has guests to stay), and shared use of the kitchen, sitting room and garden. There is an additional shower room on the ground floor. There is a spare fridge/freezer in the utility room for the Helpful Housemate’s sole use, and parking on the drive.
The property is in Holmer Green, just a 10-minute drive from Amersham in one direction and High Wycombe in the other. There is a bus stop five minutes’ walk from the house with regular buses to Amersham or High Wycombe (approx. 25 minutes).
The lady has a wide range of interests including her family, wildlife, dogs, jigsaw puzzles, crafts, Scrabble and the environment.
Helpful Housemates usually be out of the house working during the working week but have a few spare hours each week to offer a light hand and company to their Host. The ideal Helpful Housemate will be a mature, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable female non-smoker.
