She would really benefit from some light ad hoc practical help such as picking up shopping, cooking an occasional meal, carrying things and ad hoc other practical help and errands as might be useful. The Helpful Housemate is requested to keep their own bedroom and bathroom clean and tidy, and leave any communal areas such as the kitchen clean and tidy after use. Nb there are two cats so a cat-lover is essential.

The accommodation on offer is a bright furnished double bedroom with balcony overlooking the river, and its own bathroom, and shared use of the kitchen, sitting room and dining room.

The property is conveniently located in Chiswick, on the River Thames and very close to the Chiswick Roundabout and with good public transport links.

The lady is now retired but used to work in TV production, and is used to having lodgers. She is bright and friendly with a good sense of humour. 

Helpful Housemates usually work or study and have a few spare hours each week to offer a light hand to their Host. The ideal Helpful Housemate will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker. (The lady smokes e-cigarettes).

The lady would appreciate some light practical help such picking up bits of shopping, simple IT taking the bins out, ad hoc errands and sharing an occasional meal, etc.
The Helpful Housemate is requested to keep their bedroom clean and tidy, and to leave any communal areas such as the bathroom and kitchen clean and tidy after use.
The accommodation on offer is a double bedroom furnished with a double bed, chest. Of drawers, wardrobe, 2 chairs and a small book case. The shared bathroom has a shower over the bath. The kitchen has a small table; the cooking facilities are a two-plate induction hob, oven and microwave. The Housemate can also respectfully share use of the sitting room and garden.
The property is conveniently located in Enfield, just 8-10 minutes’ walk from the town centre and from Enfield Town Station (London Overground, Weaver Line), and 15 minutes’ walk to Enfield Chase Station in the other direction (Great Northern Line).
The lady is a Christian and is an active parish member. She also helped to found a charity in Uganda. She is quite a quiet person and enjoys watching TV (eg Death in Paradise) and reading.

He would really appreciate some help with IT, ad hoc other tasks, and the natural friendship that comes from sharing a home. (There is a weekly cleaner for communal parts).
The accommodation on offer is a lovely furnished double bedroom in a spacious, well-presented house. The bedroom furnishings include a double bed, chest of drawers, side tables with lights, its own bathroom, and shared use of the kitchen, sitting room and garden. There is also ample off-street parking.
 The property is located in Lydiard Millicent to the west of Swindon. There is a bus stop just up the road with regular buses into Swindon (15-20 mins) and it’s also an easy car drive.
 The gentleman is very easy-going, with a range of interests including sports, gardening, pets (he has a dog – a friendly labrador), and home improvements.

A friendly couple are seeking a Helpful Housemate to live with them. They are offering lower-than-market-rent to a friendly and trustworthy ‘lodger’ who will be happy to help up to 5 hours per week with a few minor tasks around the house and offer company to the gentleman one evening a week. 

The gentleman has mild dementia. His wife still works, often from home. They have additional support in place. It is a sociable household and they are well connected to the community so there are regular visitors, and family come and stay too. They have two cats. Having had lodgers for many years, they are friendly and welcoming and used to sharing their home.

The Helpful Housemate is requested to keep their bedroom clean and tidy, and leave any communal areas such as the bathroom and kitchen clean and tidy after use.

The accommodation on offer is a large double bedroom furnished with a king size bed, desk, chest of drawers, washstand, fitted wardrobe and chair. The bathroom is for mainly the Housemates use. The Helpful Housemate can also use the garden.

The property is located in Fishponds, approx. 25-30 minutes’ bus ride to the Bristol City Centre.

The couple’s interests include cycling, wild swimming, dancing, reading the Guardian, friends and family and animals. They have two cats, and other visiting pets so an animal lover is essential.  This would suit someone who goes out to work during the working week, and would appreciate low-cost accommodation and being part of a happy home.
